My Story
I’m Sean, a freelance marketer based in the Scottish Highlands, and someone who’s been running small businesses since I was 17.
I’ve built online brands and stores, a café, and a shop from the ground up...so I understand what it’s like to be juggling a million things while trying to keep your marketing consistent and engaging.

That’s why I started Build Buzz. Not as a big agency, but as a way to help ethical, values-led businesses get seen and grow...without the overwhelm.

I’ve always been someone who learns by doing, whether it was building processes on trial and error, launching products, or figuring out what kind of Instagram post brings in customers. That hands-on journey is why I don’t do one-size-fits-all marketing, because I know your time, budget, and values all matter.

A Few Projects
The challenge: A new business needed a branded, professional website with built-in booking to support growth. What I did: Created a sleek, fully branded site with an integrated booking system and clear messaging. The result: A cohesive online presence that reflects the business’s identity and helps new clients book with confidence.
The challenge: Their existing website wasn’t supporting sales and didn’t reflect their luxury, values-driven positioning. What I did: Restructured the site, added new pages, and optimised the user journey to improve shopability. The result: Improved customer browsing experience and stronger alignment between the brand and the customer journey.
The challenge: As a brand-new business, The Highland Weigh needed a strong visual identity and online presence that reflected its purpose as a friendly, eco-conscious social enterprise. What I did: Co-developed the brand from the ground up, designing a customer-facing website, creating an organic social media strategy, and managing consistent, values-led content across multiple platforms. The result: A clear and recognisable brand presence, growing community engagement, and a loyal customer base that continues to expand online and offline.
